Research Projects

Q-PLANET project (2026 - 2029)

High-speed and low-loss Lithium Niobate on Inulator (LNOI) and silicon nitride (SIN) photonic pilot lines for neutral atoms quantum technologies.

Project supported by Innovation Fund Denmark and the EU Chips Act Joint Undertaking.

EDOCS project (2025 - 2029)

Next-generation energy efficient optical communications.

SiPhotonIC is developing advanced I/Q modulators and Awavelength division multiplexing filters based on the Lithium Niobate on Insulator (LNOI) integration technology.

Project supported by Innovation Fund Denmark.

Next-generation Continuous Variable (CV) QKD system to ensure enhanced security and adaptability in intricate quantum networks by intensifying CVQKD system security, refining multi-party protocols for broader network application, and improving system resilience and miniaturization.

SiPhotonIC is developing quantum entanglement source PICs based on Silicon (SOI) and Lithium Niobate on Insulator (LNOI) integration technology.

Project supported by Innovation Fund Denmark.

Development of a SOI/SIN/LNOI xPDK (process design kit) compatible with most of the commonly used photonic PDA suites, targeting centralized point of service, cross-software harmonization with reduced inconsistencies for the entire chain of the design & submission process.

Project supported by Innovation Fund Denmark under Innobooster action.

Secure quantum communication based on quantum dot single photon sources and integrated photonics.
SiPhotonIC developed Silicon Nitride (SiN) and Lithium Niobate on Insulator (LNOI) photonic integrated circuits.

Project supported by Innovation Fund Denmark.
