An important result published in Nature Communications achieved by researchers in KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Rochester Institute of Technology and using one of our photonic SOI technology.
The work demonstrates the emulation of coherent absorption phenomena for single-photon quantum states using a programmable linear photonic circuit, providing new insights into quantum interference and light–matter interactions in integrated quantum photonics.
The work was realized using a SOI chip manufactured by SiPhotonIC Technologies, highlighting the capabilities of scalable photonic integration for quantum applications.
